J and Kennedy are rescues. Kennedy is a 6-year-old Whoodle (Soft-Coated Wheaten Terrier and Poodle mix), and J is a 4-year-old Labradoodle. Both love visiting and spreading smiles at schools, hospitals, and wherever they are needed most.
Zelda is a 5-year-old Pitbull/AmStaff mix who adores meeting people. She truly believes everyone on Earth was put here just to meet her! Having grown up in hospitals myself, I want to share her light and bring joy to those who need it most.
Lucy is an 11-year-old Golden Retriever mix with a gentle soul. We have been doing pet therapy since 2023. Our visits to schools, nursing homes, libraries, and other places affected by tragedy or sadness bring comfort, smiles, and joy to both us and the people we visit.
Michelle Glynn is the handler of Beau, an English Cream Golden Retriever. Together, they have been volunteering for almost three years. They love making new friends during their visits to schools, nursing homes, and libraries. They also visit the cardiac units at Children’s Hospital weekly, finding immense joy in meeting the children, their families, and the hospital staff.
Storm is a 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute with a gentle spirit who enjoys visiting people of all ages. She greets each person with slow tail wags and a smile. Storm works weekly with students in the Southbridge School System, sitting patiently while they color, pet, or read to her.
On some evenings, she can be found volunteering at an Amazon facility in Rhode Island, bringing calm reassurance to workers. On weekends, she visits a nursing home in Providence. During school vacations, Storm hosts “Reading with Storm” at the Harris Library. Storm loves visiting new places and meeting new people.
Casper is a 4-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is always smiling and wagging his tail during pet therapy visits to hospitals, skilled care facilities, and schools. He enjoys visiting with staff members just as much as he does with patients. When he isn’t spreading joy at these facilities, Casper loves going for walks and running on the beach. He especially likes riding in the car, always hoping he is on his way to see his pet therapy friends again.
Nina is a 6-year-old coonhound mix. She has high emotional intelligence and loves giving hugs! Nina is a gentle giant, coming in at 80 pounds. She lives in Middleborough with her handlers, Kelly and Alex, and her three brothers (two canine and one feline).
Lori and Mocha love to visit and bring smiles to people whenever they can. Mocha is the official therapy dog for the “Read to a Dog” program at the Plainville, MA library.
Gertie is a golden retriever, born to bring smiles and comfort to everyone she meets. She loves visiting any place that will benefit from her sweet disposition and calming presence.
